In the Smolensk region, the interest rate for using a consumer loan has decreased

The consumer price index for July this year in the Smolensk region amounted to 100.5 percent, for the period from the beginning of the year – 103.8 percent.

For comparison: the consumer price index for January-July 2020 in the Kaluga and Kostroma regions – 103.2 percent, in Tambov – 103.3%, Belgorod – 103.4 percent, Vladimir, Ivanovo and Tula – 103.7 percent, Tverskoy – 103.8 percent, Kursk – 104.2 percent.

In Russia as a whole, consumer prices rose by 0.4 percent in July, and by 3 percent since the beginning of the year.

Prices for food products in July increased by 0.1 percent compared to June, and by 4.6 percent since the beginning of the year.

The cost of the minimum set of food products on average in the region at the end of July amounted to 4,584.5 rubles per month and slightly decreased compared to the previous month by 0.2 percent. Compared to December last year, it increased by 14.9 percent.

Prices for non-food products in July increased by 0.4 percent, in January-July – by 2.3 percent.

Gasoline and diesel prices increased by 0.7 percent and 0.4 percent, respectively. Gas motor fuel increased in price more significantly – by 1.9 percent.

The annual cost of the CASCO policy also increased (by 1.6 percent), the CTP policy – by 0.6 percent. Among banking services, the interest rate for using a consumer loan decreased by 3.6 percent.
