A new focus of coronavirus infection was recorded in the Astrakhan region. He was found in the Lyubava orphanage for children, which is located in the Enotaevsky district of the Astrakhan region.
According to the operational headquarters for the fight against coronavirus infection, to date, out of 22 inmates of the shelter and 18 employees on duty, 14 children and 15 adults have tested positive for coronavirus infection.
14 children were admitted to the regional infectious diseases hospital. Also, two children have clinical symptoms of a mild viral infection. The rest of the COVID-19 is asymptomatic.
In turn, the staff of the orphanage is under the supervision of doctors from the Enotaevskaya hospital. Children and shelter staff who tested negative for coronavirus are also monitored.
