Experts found out where Volgograd car owners prefer to leave their cars overnight.
Poll “How much do you pay for overnight parking a car per day?” conducted “Dom.ru” among users of the site. More than 17 thousand people from Volgograd and other regions of the country took part in it.
As the results show, over the past 17 years, the demand for overnight parking services in our region has dropped significantly – from 69 percent in 2003 to 19 percent this year.
– This indicates a decrease in crime. People are not afraid to leave their cars on the street, – said one of the survey participants.
Most of the residents of the Volgograd region leave their cars at home, namely 58 percent. Another 23 percent of those surveyed said they put their cars in the garage. Only 19 percent of Volgograd residents use paid parking services.
For 80 percent of car owners, the cost per day is no more than 100 rubles, and the remaining 20 pay 110 rubles or more.
On average in Russia, votes were distributed in approximately the same way: 60 percent of residents park near their homes, 20 percent in the garage, and 19 percent in the parking lot.
