These conclusions were made by the senators following the investigation of two plane crashes – in 2018 and 2019. They interviewed 50 experts and looked at 15,000 pages of documentation. And they came to the conclusion that the work of the Federal Aviation Administration requires close control.
In particular, we are talking about the issuance of permits for dozens of ships by Southwest Airlines. However, the suitability of these liners has not been properly established.
The report also indicates that the FAA management is “taking revenge” on their employees who tried to draw attention to shortcomings in the work. And no one takes into account the revelations of these people.
