Employees of the Drug Control Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia for the Smolensk Region received operational information that a 30-year-old resident of one of the regional centers of the Smolensk Region is involved in the sale of drugs in a contactless way.

In the forest in the Roslavl region, the police detained the suspect at the moment when she was organizing the “laying”. During a body search in the presence of attesting witnesses, 89 packages with an unknown substance, prepared for sale, were found and seized from the woman in her backpack. Some were rewound with duct tape, others were plastered with plasticine.

The woman has already managed to organize 15 caches, the contents of which were seized.

During a search of her house, the police found plastic bags with zip-lock fasteners with unknown substances.

The examination showed that these are N-methylephedrone and mephedrone.

Further, the investigators found out that the suspect was engaged in the contactless sale of drugs together with her friend. It turned out to be a 33-year-old woman, in whose apartment bundles with crystalline substance were also found and seized. In addition, five packages were seized from hiding places organized for subsequent sale.

The examination showed that this is also N-methylephedrone.

A criminal case has been initiated against the suspects under the articles “Attempted illegal sale of narcotic drugs on a large scale” and “Illegal possession of narcotic drugs.”

Now they face up to 20 years in prison.
