Two people are in serious condition after an accident in the Khabarovsk Territory, the regional Ministry of Health said on Wednesday, October 28. The all-terrain vehicle on which the staff of the reindeer herding base were traveling overturned.
The incident occurred on the eve of the Kulukly mineral deposit, 190 km south-west of the village of Okhotsk. As a result of the incident, 7 people were injured, one of them died on the spot. The rest were hospitalized in the Okhotsk central regional hospital.
It is noted that 4 patients received minor injuries, but the condition of two people is assessed as serious.
“An online consultation was held with the specialists of KKB No. 1 in Khabarovsk on two patients, and the treatment was adjusted. If the condition worsens, the injured will be evacuated by sanitary aviation to Khabarovsk, ”the agency said on Instagram.
Earlier Wednesday it was reported that a shuttle bus with passengers overturned in St. Petersburg. As a result of the accident, five people were injured, including the driver.
