The accident happened on April 30 in the area of the village of Yamka. The driver of the “nine” tried to overtake the truck, but realizing that the maneuver was not working out, he tried to return to his lane, hitting the wheel of the car coming towards him. From the impact, the truck overturned, its trailer covered the minibus where the children were.

According to the heavy truck driver Vitaly, he did not see the car that collided with him while overtaking. Two cars one after the other jumped out as a “train” from behind him.

One, and then the second jumped out. I missed the first one, but the second one was simply not visible. The second car is a nine. He hit the wheel, everything turned out there, and the truck became unmanageable and began to roll over, ”he said.

At that moment, the man claims, he simply did not have time to make a maneuver, since the VAZ was hiding behind a foreign car and its appearance on the road was unexpected.

When the car began to roll over, Vitaly fell out of the cab, at first he did not feel anything, and then he felt a pain in the area of the collarbone, neck, head and knee, and wounded his hand. At the same time, he pointed out, the driver of the Nine was not injured, and the driver of the minibus was covered in blood.

The driver stressed that if he could imagine the consequences of the accident, he would steer the truck over the side of the road into the field.

As a result of the road accident, five minors were killed. The department clarified that there were 17 people in the minibus, including 14 children, who were traveling from Volgograd to Cherkessk to the competition.

The preliminary cause of the accident in the traffic police of Russia was called a violation of traffic rules by a passenger car.
