Two men from Volgograd and one resident of the Surovikinsky district became new victims of the infectious disease.
The operational headquarters reported details of new deaths in the region over the past day. As of November 22, in the Volgograd region registered 234 new cases of COVID-19 infection, three more people with a confirmed diagnosis have died.
– In the regional center, two men, 56 and 57 years old, have died from complications caused by the coronavirus. One of the Volgograd residents asked for medical help only on the fifth day after the first symptoms of the disease, the second tried to heal on his own for a week. Both retirees were diagnosed with COVID-19 with bilateral pneumonia. The men also suffered from chronic diseases of the cardiovascular system, – told the details in the headquarters.
The 53-year-old harsh woman immediately went to the doctor, feeling unwell. At first, the woman was treated at home, but the patient did not show any improvement. A resident of the Surovikinsky district was admitted to the infectious diseases hospital in Volgograd. Despite the assistance provided according to the latest recommendations of the Ministry of Health, the doctors failed to save her.
