The supervisory authority sent a letter to the head of the municipal services department Vitaly Zemtsov with a demand to restore the route of tram No. 1.
Inhabitants of Voroshilovskiy district addressed the Volgograd prosecutor’s office with a collective statement. The department considered the appeal and made a demand to the mayor of the city Vitaly Likhachev and MUP Metroelektrotrans to return tram No. 1 to the line. The route will be restored to the Monchegorskaya station, MK in Volgograd reports with reference to the press service of the regional prosecutor’s office.
Within 30 days, the submission must be considered and measures must be taken to eliminate the violation. The prosecutor of the Volgograd region, taking into account the social significance of the issue, took control of this situation.
At the request of the prosecutor’s office, the tram line is being repaired, in particular, they are replacing wooden sleepers with reinforced concrete ones.
