The Prosecutor General’s Office of Russia ordered to check the parents of the baby, who published a video on social networks in which the father juggles the baby, while the baby hangs upside down. This is stated in a press release from the supervisory authority on Sunday, August 16.
The instructions were given to the prosecutors of the Krasnodar Territory and Moscow. “The General Prosecutor’s Office organized a check in connection with the footage posted on the Internet of the father’s cruel treatment of a newborn girl, filmed in one of the districts of Sochi,” the General Prosecutor’s Office noted.
The man in the video is a resident of Moscow, the woman is a native of Belgorod, the department established.
At present, nothing threatens the life and health of the child. The baby was transferred to a medical facility.
Sochi police found a man holding a baby by the leg and waving it like a doll in the video. The police found the family in the forest of the Khosta region; they live in a tent in the Azhek tract. Together with the adults there was a one and a half month old girl.
Children’s Ombudsman Anna Kuznetsova said on her Instagram that she received hundreds of letters from caring people who saw the creepy video and still cannot come to their senses. The children’s ombudsman also drew attention to the girl’s unusual name – her parents called her a Joke.
