Political scientist Marat Bashirov outlined the main signal for the West in the message of the President of Russia to the Federal Assembly, namely, the priority of the country’s internal tendencies in the form of issues of social policy, business and investment climate. He stated this on Thursday, April 22, in his conversation with REN TV.

The political scientist noted that the Russian leader made do with brief comments on the country’s international affairs, omitting unnecessary details.

“These are important points that few people expected to hear. And inside the country there were many skeptics, and in the West they sat, waiting for “fiery speeches” that we were going to attack somewhere. And the president said that we are going to deal with the arrangement of internal life. And this is perhaps the most important signal that was heard in the West, ”said Marat Bashirov.

The Russian leader did not name any specific country or any specific person of a foreign state, including US President Joe Biden, which can be described as a demonstration of peacefulness on the part of Russia. At the same time, Putin clearly outlined his unacceptability in relation to coups d’etat and the assassinations of heads of state.

The day before, on April 21, leading Russian economists noted that the implementation of the entire set of measures specified in the message of Russian President Vladimir Putin to the Federal Assembly would require approximately 1.5 trillion rubles. This amount includes 400 billion rubles for payments to the population.
