On the Day of the Lyceum, which is celebrated on October 19, the State Museum-Reserve offers to watch the new issue of the video magazine “In our Mikhailovskoye and in its vicinity”.
This is a nine-minute video dedicated to the history of the Lyceum and telling about the fate of its graduates. The plot for him was a poem by Pushkin, written for the lyceum anniversary in 1825, in the days of the poet’s Mikhailov exile.
The museum also invites Internet users to see the book “Pushkin and Tsarskoye Selo” by Innokenty Annensky, published in the century before last, on the centenary of the birth of the most famous lyceum student. The book is available electronically.
Recall that the Tsarskoye Selo Lyceum, founded by decree of Emperor Alexander I, was opened on October 19/31, 1811. The Mikhailovskoye Museum-Reserve annually celebrates this date by arranging free concerts or performances for schoolchildren, their teachers and parents.
