The Moscow prosecutor’s office began checking after the publication in social networks of a video from an online broadcast camera, which captured a drunk woman beating a child. This was reported in the press service of the department on September 8.
“During the audit, all the circumstances of the incident will be established, an assessment will be made of the fulfillment of the requirements of the legislation on minors, as well as the actions of parents in fulfilling their responsibilities for raising children,” the REN TV channel reported.
In addition, it is reported that the results of the check on this fact were taken under control by the Moscow prosecutor’s office.
According to the head of the press service of the Moscow prosecutor’s office, Lyudmila Nefedova, a video appeared on social networks of a woman in a state of alcoholic intoxication forgetting to turn off the webcam after the broadcast. After that, there were footage of how she beat a young child.
The footage shows how the woman takes the baby by the legs, turns it over and begins to hit him.
Netizens decided to write a collective statement to law enforcement agencies demanding to find out all the circumstances of the incident and deprive the mother of parental rights.
Earlier, on September 3, it was reported that a 20-year-old woman beat her four-month-old son to death in the Volgograd region. At first, the woman claimed that the child had fallen from a rocking chair the day before and hit his head. However, after being presented with the conclusions of the forensic medical examination, she admitted that she herself had beaten her son.
