Russian Health Minister Mikhail Murashko commented on foreign criticism of the Russian vaccine against coronavirus.

According to him, foreign criticism of the Russian vaccine is unfounded and caused by fear of competition.

“Foreign colleagues, apparently sensing certain competitive advantages of the Russian drug, are trying to express some opinions, which, in our opinion, are absolutely groundless,” the minister said.

Murashko explained that the Russian vaccine decision is “a decision that already had certain clinical studies and data.” He added that experts continue to monitor even the animals that received the vaccine as part of the study.

We will remind, the President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin announced on August 11 the registration of the first vaccine against coronavirus in the country.
