In September, the head of the political council of the Ukrainian party “Opposition Platform – For Life” Viktor Medvedchuk said that Ukraine “lives in debt” by two-thirds.
On November 5, the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine adopted in the first reading the draft state budget of the country for 2021, which implies a 6% GDP deficit.
It is assumed that the state budget deficit for 2021 will be $ 9.29 billion, or about 6% of GDP. At the same time, the state debt of Ukraine for the next year is envisaged at the level of 64.6% of GDP.
