On December 17, Tambov state traffic inspectors and bailiffs carried out a raid “Malicious defaulter”. During the check, the cars of two residents of Tambov were stopped. These citizens had large debts for some offenses, which they did not pay off, although they received relevant notifications more than once. By a court decision, the cars were taken from the malicious defaulters. The transport was taken to a fine parking lot and sealed.
If car owners do not repay their debts in full in the near future, their cars will be valued and sold at auction against the debt. For example, the owner of Lada Grants will part with his car for a debt of 700 thousand rubles.
On account of the debt, personal vehicles can be taken for non-payment for such offenses as traffic fines, alimony, housing and communal services debts, loan delays and others. Issues with persistent defaulters will be resolved through the courts.
