Six criminal cases were initiated in Buryatia on the facts of illegal receipt of unemployment benefits at the initiative of prosecutors. This was reported in the press service of the republican prosecutor’s office.
The department has strengthened supervision over compliance with legislation on employment. And in the first six months, 398 violations were found. Moreover, they were committed by both ordinary citizens and employment centers.
For example, the employment center in Ulan-Ude unreasonably refused to assign unemployment benefits to three citizens. All three were put on record at the request of prosecutors. Benefits were also given to people.
Other violations include untimely registration, poor control over the targeted spending of budget funds, and lack of necessary checks.
There were mistakes in the actions of employers. The staff of workers was unjustifiably laid off, and discriminatory conditions were created when hiring. For example, the prosecutor of the Zheleznodorozhny District, in the interests of 111 employees of StroyCity LLC, filed a statement of claim with the court to recognize the relationship as labor. The claims are pending.
