On August 7, at about 11 o’clock, the rescue service received information about the boat “Amur”, which suffered a disaster on the 1152 km of the Volga’s navigational course. Cheboksary district. On board were four adults and two children – a boy and a girl 7 and 3 years old, all of them needed urgent help.
It turned out that due to an error in maneuvering, the ship was swept by a wave, and it began to gradually fill with water. Rescuers arrived in time to evacuate people from the sinking boat. Medical help was needed by one passenger – a 72-year-old woman who was in a state of stress.
