The entrepreneurs of the regional center were obliged to replace the current signs with signs that meet the standards by May 1 of next year. Mayor of Belgorod Yuri Galdun shared this information on November 24 on his page on the social network VKontakte.
The mayor in his post emphasized that business owners will not be loaded with special instructions, however, even in the current difficult time of the pandemic, the city should be beautiful.
Recall that this topic – about replacing the placement of advertising signs – was raised by members of the Belgorod City Council back in February. Then the “visual noise” was planned to be removed by August 1 of this year.
It is also worth noting that Belgorod entrepreneurs have repeatedly complained about unauthorized inspections and claims related to the need to replace existing signs. The deputy of the city council Vadim Radchenko tried to find out how competent these checks were. They sent a request to the Department of Urban Development. Whether the answer came and what it was is unknown.
