Due to the coronavirus pandemic and related restrictions, working Russians lost 841 billion rubles in income in April-May this year.

Such data are provided by the NKR rating agency “Price of Quarantine”.

In recalculation, it turns out that the Russians in the two spring months did not receive 16 million average monthly nominal wages, writes RBC.

The greatest losses were suffered by residents of Moscow and St. Petersburg.

Only the Jewish Autonomous Region managed to completely avoid the reduction of the wage bill, while the incomes of citizens in the Chukotka and Nenets Autonomous Districts, North Ossetia and Kurgan Region decreased minimally. These figures do not include informal income.
