The incident with the American military in Syria occurred after the attempt by the US military to block the path of a military police convoy following an agreed route, said the head of the Russian center for the reconciliation of warring parties in Syria Alexei Posunko.
He noted that after entering the zone of control of the international anti-terrorist coalition, the Russian convoy was pursued by two American MRAP armored vehicles. Then they were joined by two more such combat vehicles, blocking the path of the column. In this case, the path was previously agreed with the American side.
Posunko noted that in the current conditions, the Russian patrol did everything necessary to further carry out the task.
Earlier, the videos published on the network show how the Russian military literally staged a “race” with the Americans on armored vehicles, and helicopters hovered over American equipment.
