Renault has presented an updated second-generation Duster crossover for the Russian market. The car retained its geometric cross-country ability and received a new design, which includes various body design options and a new metallic color – orange Atacama, according to the manufacturer’s website on December 15.
The model received a new radiator grille and headlights with new LED daytime running lights, as well as new front and rear bumpers.
The windscreen has become flatter, the wheel arches are more massive. The rear lights have taken on an original shape.
The new Renault Duster has become larger. The length of the car is 4341 mm (26 mm more than the model of the previous generation), width – 1804 mm, height – 1682 mm (with roof rails). The wheelbase has been increased to 2676 mm. The crossover’s ground clearance is 210 mm, and the angles of entry and exit are 31 and 33 degrees, respectively.
Other technical details, as well as prices and configurations have not yet been announced.
Earlier, on November 25, Renault published a teaser for the updated Duster crossover for Russia.
On November 13, it became known that production of the updated Renault Duster crossover at the Renault Russia plant in Moscow will begin in the fall of 2021. At the same time, the chassis of the model will be produced at AvtoVAZ in Togliatti. For this, an additional assembly line will be modernized.
