Electronic cigarettes and hookahs will also be subject to appropriate administrative liability: for involving minors in the use of electronic smoking products, violation of the ban on their use in rooms and demonstration of the process of consumption of electronic smoking products in newly created and intended for adults audiovisual works, including television and video films. , in theatrical performances. The penalties remain the same as currently applied to regular cigarettes.
In addition, a ban on smoking in communal apartments is also provided, and the consequences of both tobacco smoking and the consumption of substances containing no substances will be spelled out in the rights and obligations of citizens. Also, smokers will be provided with medical assistance, referrals for cessation of tobacco or nicotine-containing products.
Earlier, on July 21, the State Duma adopted in the third and final reading a bill on amendments to the Code of Administrative Violations, according to which fines for the sale of nasvay, sucking tobacco (snus), and tobacco products to minors will be increased several times.
