By a court decision, a resident of the Pskov region will be sent to prison for a fatal road accident near Tver for 6 years. The tragedy took place in the Rzhevsky region on August 24 last year, according to the portal tvtver.ru.
On the 223 kilometer of the federal highway “Baltia” a drunken Pskov, who was driving a tractor, lost control and knocked down two pensioners who were walking along the side of the road. An 82-year-old man died on the spot, and a 58-year-old woman, also hit by the wheels of a heavy truck, was seriously injured.
Pskovich left the scene of the accident and tried to escape.
