In the Pskov region, this year, almost 16% less potatoes were harvested than in 2019. As the press service of Pskovstat told MK in Pskov, a little more than 115 thousand tons of this vegetable were dug from the fields.
At the same time, the total number of other harvested vegetables increased by 4.8% compared to the level of the previous year and amounted to 35.5 thousand tons.
Cereals and leguminous crops demonstrated an enviable yield in the past year. Agricultural producers managed to thresh over 151 thousand tons. Most of this grain (96%) was grown by agricultural organizations. Another 4% are peasant farms.
