Anybody who is registered under FSSAI that comply the rules and regulation of the FSS Act, 2006. Based on the level of observance, this is marked by the food safety officer as:

  • C- compliance
  • NC- Non-Compliance
  • PC – partial compliance
  • NA- Not applicable

The food safety manager could issue an improvement notice where necessary by sec 32 of the FSS Act. The officer may also revoke the license after allowing the applicant to demonstrate cause if the business owner does not comply with improvement notice.
