The head of Karelia on the evening of December 29 on his page “VKontakte” admittedthat the situation with the spread of coronavirus in the republic has stabilized.
“Over the past Monday, 38 calls were registered at the Republican Infectious Diseases Hospital, for comparison, a week ago there were 75. And on Mondays in late November and early December, the number of calls exceeded 100,” wrote Artur Parfenchikov.
In this regard, it was decided to soften the restrictions for concert halls, theaters and museums:
– Theaters, concert halls, exhibition halls and museums will open from January 2 (and not from the 4th, as previously planned);
– Cinemas will be able to continue working as usual and receive visitors on all holidays, starting from December 29, subject to compliance with sanitary and epidemiological requirements.
“At the same time, I would like to draw your attention to the fact that on December 31, during the period of the greatest excitement, residents of the republic over 65 are prohibited from visiting shopping centers and shops. Therefore, I kindly ask the representatives of the older generation to make all the necessary purchases tomorrow, December 30. Or use the services of outdoor retail outlets – the restriction does not apply to them, ”Parfenchikov summed up.
