Russian mixed style fighter (MMA) Alexey Oleinik commented on the act of his American rival Derrick Lewis, who spat into a container with food supposedly prepared for a domestic athlete.
Oleinik, 43, said the food did not belong to him. According to the fighter, Lewis decided to “hype”. “In any case, this speaks of his culture and education,” Sport24 quotes the Russian on August 7.
Lews posted a video on social networks with a food container, which was signed by the name of the Russian citizen. The American spat at him, stating that he decided to add spice.
Oleinik will face Lewis in the Octagon next weekend, leading the card at UFC Fight Night 174.
The fight will take place on the night of August 8-9. REN TV will broadcast live in Russia. Oleinik has 59 victories and 13 defeats. On account of the 35-year-old Lewis 23 wins and 7 losses.
