The NHL has published two token squads of the Russian national team ahead of the World Youth Championship. The first lineup included two main legends of Russian hockey – Alexander Ovechkin and Pavel Bure. The top three with them was made by the no less legendary Alexander Mogilny. Vyacheslav Fetisov and Alexander Romanov were made defenders in this line-up. Goalkeeper – Evgeny Belosheikin.

The second line-up looks no less impressive. Three forwards: Vladimir Krutov, Evgeny Malkin and Evgeny Kuznetsov. At the goal is Alexander Vasilevsky, and defenders Dmitry Orlov and Mikhail Tatarinov.

The World Youth Championship will kick off on December 25 in Canada. Our athletes will still play a friendly match with the owners of the site before that.
