The situation with interruptions in the supply of drugs in Russia began to improve. This was stated by the head of the Russian Ministry of Health Mikhail Murashko on Thursday, November 26.

“We passed the spring and summer period quite smoothly. In the autumn period, when an additional load arose on the entire system, individual interruptions began to arise, including in the timely production and delivery of drugs. But today this situation has also begun to improve, ”said Murashko at the XI All-Russian Congress of Patients.

He added that at the moment more than 780 thousand patients with COVID-19 in Russia are on outpatient treatment, over 220 thousand are in hospitals.

On November 18, Russian President Vladimir Putin, during a meeting with members of the Cabinet of Ministers, stressed that in the situation with the fight against coronavirus, “no one needs good reports and silences.”

Last week, Minister of Industry and Trade Denis Manturov said that by the end of 2020, the production of a number of medicines in Russia will more than triple.

In early November, Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin called the situation with a shortage of medicines in the regions unacceptable.
