As Izvestia reports, the Russian government has supported the proposed amendments to the Code of Administrative Offenses, which provide for penalties for failure to develop and failure to meet the deadlines for mining.

The draft law was developed by deputies from the Legislative Assembly of Tatarstan. The explanatory note states that due to the timely non-development of the subsoil, the budgets of all levels receive less taxes, and there is also a significant discrepancy between the production plans and the actual figures.

It is proposed to fine citizens for 2 thousand rubles, officials in the amount of 20 thousand to 40 thousand rubles, legal entities for 300-500 thousand rubles.

The document will now be considered at a plenary session of the State Duma of the Russian Federation.
