Nikita Mordashov, the son of businessman Alexei Mordashov, went to military service after being expelled from the university, Forbes reports, citing sources.

According to the newspaper, in the summer the heir to the billionaire was expelled from the Higher School of Economics, where he studied at the paid department of the Faculty of World Economy and World Politics. It is reported that the undergraduate program involved obtaining two degrees – the HSE and the University of London “International Relations”.

Mordashov Jr. entered the university in the summer of 2019. At the same time, according to the data from the website of the educational program, at the end of the first year Nikita Mordashov had one of the lowest ratings among fellow students.

RBC, citing a source, reports that “Nikita was sent to the army by his father, because his son did not want to study.”
