At a meeting on the security of the election campaign, President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko ordered to invite the prosecutors general of Russia and Ukraine to Minsk, BelTA informs.

Lukashenko noted that together with the Prosecutors General of these two countries, it is necessary to investigate the case of the 33 men detained in a boarding house near Minsk, whom the Belarusian authorities consider to be fighters of the Wagner PMC who had arrived for destabilization. The detainees had Russian and Ukrainian passports.

Earlier, Ukrainian journalist Dmitry Gordon said that Lukashenka allegedly agreed to hand over to Ukraine some of the detainees who, according to preliminary data, could have taken part in the conflict in southeastern Ukraine.
