Four journalists from Kalmykia were among the winners of the VI All-Russian competition of journalistic works “Truth and Justice”.
The Public Council of the Truth and Justice Foundation of the All-Russian Popular Front has summed up the results of the VI All-Russian competition of journalistic works Truth and Justice. As a result of two rounds, 437 journalists out of two thousand mass media representatives from all regions of Russia became laureates of the competition. In addition, 42 editors-in-chief were selected as laureates of a special prize “For promoting greater confidence in the media among citizens and the development of regional journalism.”
Among the winners are journalists from Kalmykia. They are the deputy editor-in-chief of the newspaper Parlamentsky Vestnik Kalmykia, Lyudmila Sarangova, correspondents of the Kalmykia State Television and Radio Broadcasting Company Zoya Barmagnanova and the republican news agency Gleb Kravtsov, as well as director of the Kalmykia State TV and Radio Company Gilyana Grosul.
The laureates will receive personal cash prizes of 100,000 rubles for a news report and 200,000 rubles for a special investigation report. The time and place of the All-Russia People’s Front Forum “Truth and Justice”, during which the awarding of personal prizes to journalists, will be announced by the organizers of the competition.
