As reported in the Ministry of Internal Affairs for the Yaroslavl region, the citizen for 38 years was engaged in laying a fiber-optic cable on the territory of the Lyubimsky district. And he didn’t notice, or didn’t want to notice, that he was riding special equipment on the territory of the landing. While laying, the man badly damaged the plantings, breaking 78 three-year-old Christmas trees, which were specially planted for reforestation.

The plotter did not have a special permission. Now he will stand trial on charges of damaging green spaces. Namely, part 1 of article 260 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation. The article provides for real terms of punishment. But the citizen is likely to get off with a fine. The damage caused to them is estimated at 24.7 thousand rubles.
