In Maksatikha, Tver region, a man was detained who burned someone else’s car. Contact the regional Ministry of Internal Affairs for details.
A 48-year-old local resident asked the police for help. The man said that in the evening his VAZ burned down on Sovetskaya Street. After the examination, it became clear that the car was deliberately burned, after which the search for the intruder began. Some time later, police arrested a 43-year-old suspect who confessed to the crime. According to the arsonist, he committed the crime because of personal hostile relationships.
A criminal case was initiated against the man under Part 2 of Article 167 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation “Intentional destruction or damage to property”, under which he faces up to five years in prison.
