The Russian government has approved the decision to eliminate the three-shift student in schools in Chechnya, Ingushetia and Dagestan in the North Caucasus, the Kommersant newspaper reports.

According to the newspaper, the listed regions of the North Caucasus Federal District will receive subsidies from the federal center for the construction of new schools so that children do not have to study in three shifts, which will ultimately have a positive effect on the quality of education in the republics of the North Caucasus.

By the end of next year, Chechnya, Ingushetia and Dagestan in the North Caucasus, as well as Buryatia, will receive about 12 billion rubles to resolve the issue.

As reported, meanwhile, schools of the Karachay-Cherkess Republic are preparing to completely eliminate the two-shift.
