In the Irkutsk region, the investigation of a criminal case against 50-year-old native of the Moscow region Elena Dzyk and her accomplices, suspected of providing medical services that do not meet safety requirements, continues.

According to the investigation, Elena Dzyk registered as an individual entrepreneur and, without having a professional medical education and a license for at least some surgical intervention, removed the nail plates due to their ingrowth – an operation that is usually performed in a hospital. To advertise activities that she was not entitled to, the woman posted ads on the Web and started her own blog on YouTube. So, in the city of Irkutsk, she collected money from people for training at a workshop on the reconstruction and restoration of destroyed and damaged nails. The Investigative Directorate of the Investigative Committee of Russia for the Irkutsk Region noted that such manipulations are also medical activities.

The woman began her illegal activity in 2018 with a group of accomplices. Having divided the roles among themselves, the suspects purchased the necessary medications and rented a house near Irkutsk. There they provided illegal medical services. The manipulations ended badly – several patients had to go to the hospital for repeated nail removal and treatment.

Investigators of the RF IC ask residents of the Irkutsk region who have become victims or witnesses to the actions of Elena Dzyk to report this to the investigation department for the Irkutsk region.
