In Vladivostok, police detained an 18-year-old “guide between man and the devil” who deceived a 16-year-old girl, “acquiring” her soul for 93 thousand rubles. This was reported on August 7 at the city’s Ministry of Internal Affairs.
According to the police, the girl knew the false magician, since she had previously studied at the same school with him. The young man assured her that he was a mediator between man and the devil, that he was able to read cards, read minds and damage her.
After that, the young man suggested that his friend “sell her soul” and receive three wishes in return. The fraudster estimated information on how to do this at 6 thousand rubles, his services at 1 thousand, and the material for conducting ceremonies at 5 thousand.
“He also said that those who went over to the side of the devil should not wear gold jewelry. The swindler suggested that the girl put her gold jewelry in a pawnshop and transfer the proceeds to his card, ”the Interior Ministry said in a statement.
At the same time, the young man asked the girl to delete all their correspondence in social networks and give him the phone and laptop in order to avoid “ending up in a psychiatric hospital.”
However, her mother found out about an acquaintance of the schoolgirl. She went to the police. The total damage from the hands of the fraudster is estimated at 93 thousand rubles.
A criminal case was initiated under the article “Fraud with causing significant damage.” The young man was detained and has already confessed.
On April 7, it was reported that in Udmurtia a woman believed a fortune teller and lost almost 1.4 million rubles. She sent funds within a month so that the damage was removed from her.
