Experts of Roszdravnadzor, during an inspection of a private clinic in the capital, where a six-month-old child almost died during an operation, found expired drugs and revealed non-compliance with the storage conditions for drugs. This was announced on Monday, October 5, at the territorial body of Roszdravnadzor in the capital and the Moscow region.
“Also unregistered drugs were found. In order to prevent harm to the life and health of citizens, unregistered medicinal products were seized by specialists of the territorial authority. The administrative investigation continues, ”TASS quotes the press service of the department.
The incident with the baby happened the day before. REN TV learned that the child had anaphylactic shock with subsequent convulsions during the circumcision procedure. After that, the child was taken to the intensive care unit of one of the capital’s hospitals. His condition is assessed as severely stable.
In turn, the agency, citing information from Roszdravnadzor, writes that representatives of a private clinic said that the medicine was administered to the child not by an employee of the medical center, but by a doctor who burst into the clinic’s premises along with the patient, his family and his own medicines. It was after the introduction of the medication before the planned operation that the baby had anaphylactic shock.
On this fact, the Investigative Department of the Investigative Committee of Russia in Moscow opened a criminal case under the article “Providing services that do not meet security requirements.”
