Another 1,353 patients recovered in Moscow after undergoing treatment for coronavirus, said Anastasia Rakova, Moscow Deputy Mayor for Social Development on August 7.

According to her, the number of people who have recovered from COVID-19 in Moscow is growing. “The total number of people who have recovered from the infection has increased to 187,576,” the Vice-Mayor quoted the Coronavirus Operational Headquarters as saying.

As of Thursday, more than 245 thousand cases of coronavirus infection were recorded in the city. On August 5, Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin said that the restrictive measures introduced due to the infection could be extended for several more months.

Since July 13, the ubiquitous mask regime has been canceled in the capital. Now city dwellers do not have to wear personal protective equipment on the street. Masks and gloves should be worn when using public transport, visiting public places and shopping.
