Over the past day in the capital, 12 people have died with identified pneumonia and positive tests for coronavirus. This was reported on Tuesday, August 11, at the operational headquarters for control and monitoring of the situation with the spread of infection.
Since the beginning of the pandemic in the capital, 4611 people have died with the identified coronavirus. Over the past day, 4,945 new cases of coronavirus were detected in Russia in 84 regions. Of these, 28.4% had no clinical manifestations of the disease.
Most cases in the last day in Moscow – 694, Sverdlovsk region – 168, St. Petersburg – 157. During the day in Russia 6494 people have fully recovered.
Since the beginning of the epidemic in Russia, 897,599 cases of coronavirus have been detected in 85 regions. Over the entire period, 15,131 deaths were recorded, 703,175 people recovered.
On August 10, the head of Rospotrebnadzor, Anna Popova, said that, compared to the end of May, the growth rate of new COVID-19 cases in Russia has decreased 50 times, and among those returning from Russian resorts, coronavirus is diagnosed in about six people out of 10 thousand.
She also noted that since July, the department has regularly monitored cases of coronavirus infection among those returning from Russian and foreign resorts. So, in all regions of Russia, the number of sick tourists who returned from the resorts of the Krasnodar Territory, Crimea, Stavropol Territory, the Republic of Dagestan is approximately the same – six people per 10 thousand.
According to her, this figure may not seem so large, but it is still necessary to comply with anti-epidemic recommendations at Russian resorts.
