The Investigative Committee of Karelia is investigating a criminal case against a 56-year-old woman who is suspected of murder, the press service of the department reported.
The investigation found out that at the end of September 2020, the suspected woman was in her apartment in Segezha with her 39-year-old son. The woman was drunk and after a while she had a fight with her relative. During the conflict, she attacked a man with a knife and inflicted bodily harm from which he died at the scene.
The woman is currently in custody. All the circumstances of the incident are clarified. For such an act, a resident of Karelia can go to jail for 15 years.
