In Kalmykia, children were fed with low-quality dairy products

Dairy products containing antibiotics and vegetable oils were found in eight children’s institutions in Kalmykia.

According to the press service of the Rosselkhoznadzor Office for the Republic of Kazakhstan, state inspectors during the inspection of eight preschool and school institutions took 14 samples of dairy products in order to determine their compliance with the requirements of regulatory documents of the Russian Federation in terms of quality and safety indicators. A high content of vegetable oils was found in milk and butter from Pyatigorsk, Rostov, Saratov and Chelyabinsk regions, Krasnodar Territory. And there is even antibiotics in the sour cream of the Stavropolsky dairy plant.

The Rosselkhoznadzor Directorate for the Republic of Kazakhstan informed the concerned departments on all facts. Poor-quality potentially dangerous products were withdrawn from circulation, offenders were brought to administrative responsibility. In addition, instructions were issued for the withdrawal of five declarations of conformity, as well as in relation to six manufacturers of counterfeit products, notifications were sent on the preparation of protocols on an administrative offense under Part 2 of Art. 14.43
