Residents of the country with only a small income will be in a slightly more advantageous situation in 2021. The minimum wage will be increased from January 1 from current 9.35 euros to 9.50 euros per hour. And at the second stage, from July 1, for another 10 cents up to 9.60 euros per hour.

The minimum wage for apprentices and trainees is also increasing. Those who start to study the profession in 2021 will earn at least 550 euros, instead of the 515 euros previously established by law in the first year of study. Those receiving social assistance or unemployment benefit II will also have slightly more money in the new year: from January 1, the base rate for single people will rise by 14 to 446 euros.
