According to the Robert Koch Institute (RKI), over the past day in Germany, the number of newly infected people has increased by 1,892, which is much more than the previous day (1176).
As of Thursday, September 10, 255,366 cases of infection have been recorded in the country since the beginning of the collection of official statistical information on coronavirus. The total number of deaths from Covid-19 to date is 9,341. There are 221,900 confirmed cases of complete cure from coronavirus. The R value in 4 days is about 0.88.
It is estimated that there are 16,625 active cases, that is, people currently infected. This figure is not officially recorded by the Robert Koch Institute. However, as in other countries, it is determined by subtracting the number of deaths (9,341) and the estimated 229,400 recovered from all ever infected.
According to the Intensive Care Register, 227 people are currently being treated for Covid-19 in intensive care units. This represents 0.72 percent of the more than 30,000 intensive care beds in Germany.
