German police do not exclude the possibility that the driver of the car that crashed into the gates of the German Chancellor Angela Merkel’s office on Wednesday, November 25, suffers from a mental disorder; a check is being carried out on this fact. This was announced by a representative of the Berlin law enforcement agencies, writes Bild.
“According to the information available at the moment, the car was traveling at a very low speed, so the material damage caused to the gate and the car is not serious. Motivation – whether it is a psychological state or other motives – is now being tested, ”a police spokesman told reporters.
A car crashed into the fence of the Federal Chancellor of Germany Angela Merkel in Berlin on November 25. The photographs posted on the web after the incident show that the car was labeled: “Stop the policy of globalization” and “You are the damned killers of children and old people.”
Later, information appeared that the German police did not yet consider the incident at the gates of the office of German Chancellor Angela Merkel in Berlin as a terrorist attack.
According to media reports, in 2014, the same car had already tried to ram the gates of Merkel’s office. Then no one was hurt.
