Four people died from carbon monoxide poisoning in Ivanovo

In Ivanovo, four people, including two children, were poisoned by carbon monoxide. A criminal case has been instituted into the incident, reports on Sunday, December 20, the press service of the Investigative Committee for the region.

The tragic incident took place in the apartment of one of the houses on Kalintseva Street. According to the ministry, two adults were killed, as well as a 15-year-old girl and a five-year-old boy.

“In order to establish all the circumstances that led to the tragedy, the Leninsky interdistrict investigation department of the city of Ivanovo of the Investigative Department of the Investigative Committee of Russia in the Ivanovo Region opened a criminal case (part 3 of Art. 238 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation),” the message says.

Criminologists are working at the scene. The issue of the appointment of forensic medical examinations and other necessary expert studies is being resolved.

At the end of November, in Togliatti, a family was poisoned by carbon monoxide. A seven-year-old boy and a girl, as well as their parents, were taken to the hospital. After a while, the girl died in a medical facility.
