Forecasters said that windy weather with intermittent rain awaits the residents of the capital region on Wednesday, August 12.
In the daytime in Moscow, it is predicted 16-18 degrees of heat, in the Moscow region – from 14 to 19 degrees. At night in the capital it will get colder up to 10 degrees, in the region in some places it will be from 7 to 12 degrees Celsius, the Hydrometeorological Center of Russia reported.
The atmospheric pressure will be 746 mm Hg. Art. North and northwest winds are expected at a speed of 5–10 m / s, gusts can reach 15 m / s.
Due to strong winds in Moscow and the Moscow region from 09:00 on August 12 to 21:00 on August 13, the “yellow” level of weather hazard will be in effect.
Earlier on August 12, the scientific director of the Hydrometeorological Center of Russia, Roman Vilfand, announced that the “cold wave” would leave the European territory of Russia on Tuesday next week.
So far, according to meteorologists, from August 12, a cold snap will come to the capital region. The air temperature will be 3-4 degrees below normal.
