“May will not disappoint either, the average monthly air temperature is 1–2.5 degrees warmer than it should be, and the sky moisture will fall within the normal range. By the way, May Day promises to be quite warm in advance, which can be a good signal for summer residents and start field work, “- said the forecaster to RIA Novosti.
He noted that in April the temperature will be a couple of degrees warmer than normal.
On the same day, Tishkovets told when the snowdrifts in Moscow would begin to melt. According to the forecaster, the snowdrifts will begin to melt by mid-March. He added that the first month of spring will be slightly warmer than normal.
Tatiana Pozdnyakova, chief specialist of the Moscow meteorological office, noted that the slush will remain in Moscow until April. At the same time, the forecaster clarified that it may still snow in March.
